It would appear that Fedor is joining Strikeforce to headline a card with a relative newcomer to MMA, Brett Rogers on November 7, 2009 in Hoffman Estates IL. Also featured on the card is Christiane Cyborg Santos defending her new title taken from Gina Carrano last month.

Fedor Emelianenko is probably one of the most sought after names in the sport of MMA. Keeping his product as a seller's market, he has signed on for a co-promotion deal with Strikeforce and M1 Global located in a suburb of Chicago, Hoffman Estates.

He will be facing Brett Rogers new to professional MMA but has an undefeated record with most notably knocking out Andre "the pitbull" Arlovski 22 seconds into the first round. Until recently he was training part time bringing definite size and power with him in attempt to defeat the greatest MMA fighter of all time.

Also on the card is Christiane Cyborg Santos. She will be defending her newly named Women's lightweight championship title that was recently won from last month's brawl with Gina Carrano. Cyborg will be taking on Cindy Dandios.

Preliminary card begins at 6:00 pm with the main card scheduled to start at 8:00 at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL, on November 7, 2009. Tickets go on sale Monday September 28, 2009. Here are some packages available.
